Avid supplied and installed five Eaton RMUs into custom-built enclosures, to be delivered to Christmas Island. The enclosures (built by Aerison) were disassembled to permit the installation of the RMU along with earthing and external labelling, then reassembled. The elevated plinth with removable front covers allows easy access for cable routing and termination, and the design allows arc flash venting into the cable pit.
